Vandaag zal de Amerikaanse Lindsay Adler in Almere de workshop “Secrets of Fashion & Beauty Photography” geven. Daarvoor kon slechts een klein aantal fotografen zich inschrijven. Studio Tjeerd heeft een plaatsje weten te bemachtigen.
De 31-jarige Lindsay Adler is een van de meest toonaangevende beauty and fashion fotografen van dit moment. Ze is zeer inspirerende en bevlogen fotograaf uit New York (wat is dat toch met New York?) die daarnaast ook nog de kwaliteiten heeft om dingen goed te kunnen uitleggen als ware zij een volleerd docent.
Hoewel nog relatief jong, heeft ze haar sporen ruimschoots verdiend in de beauty and fashion wereld en hebben haar foto’s al menige cover gesierd van de gerenommeerde beauty and fashion bladen. Kortom: zij timmert internationaal flink aan de weg.

In this lesson Lindsay will take you through her top 5 tips for your very first fashion and beauty shoots, including proven approaches for building a creative team and shooting on a budget. This fast-paced overview is jam packed with insights into the world of fashion imagery, as well as jump-starting your career with advise for getting published, bidding for jobs, and marketing best-practices.
10:30 – 10:45 : Short break
10:45 – 12:15 : Fashion Lighting to WOW your Portrait Clients
Fashion lighting is eye-catching. Lindsay will take you through her top 5 favorite fashion lighting techniques and how you can utilize them for your own portrait work. She’ll cover beauty, fashion, high key, low key and more to ignite your creativity in the studio.
12:15 – 13:15 : Lunch
13:15 – 16:15 : Hands on shooting with professional models
Take this time to get experience with fashion lighting, directing models, and more. You’ll have time to shoot professionally styled models with Lindsay guiding you through the process.
16:15 – 16:30 : Short break
16:15 – 17:30 : Fashion and Beauty Retouching Techniques
Retouching and creative Photoshop techniques are an important final step to perfect your images, express your vision, and define your style. Lindsay will cover her favorite skin retouching techniques including frequency separation, contouring and creative color grading.
