Vandaag zijn de finalisten bekend gemaakt van de Yicca 2024 Art Prize waarvoor twee foto’s van Merlin waren ingestuurd.

De inzending voor deze prijs is op 8 april gedaan en vandaag zou, zo bleek later, de uitslag van de wedstrijd bekend worden gemaakt.
De wedstrijd wordt georganiseerd door het Yicca Project Network.

Van de organisatie kreeg ik vandaag een e-mail met daarin de uitslag en helaas hebben de foto’s van Merlin het niet tot de finale weten te brengen.
Onderstaande kunstenaars mogen zich wel finalist noemen en zal hun werk tijdens een expositie in Venetië tentoon worden gesteld in de Art Spaces of Imagoars.

Via deze weg wil ik de finalisten van harte feliciteren met hun finaleplaats en expositie in het mooie Venetië!

“YICCA is an international call for artists, open to professionals and not only from any country in the world.
All kinds of contemporary artworks are allowed in the art contest: drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs, graphics, mix media, video, installations and performances.
The competition’s aim is to promote the enrolled artist, giving them chance to join the international market of contemporary art. Internationality and networking make this art call a huge chance for the artists, which can win a cash prize and have the opportunity to exhibit the submitted works in an art gallery of a European city.
Jury’s final decision will lead to a selection of 18 artists that will participate in the final exhibition.”
