Medio juli dit jaar berichtte ik al over een ander Art Book, of beter gezegd: Art Books, die mij benaderden voor publicatie. Vandaag een e-mail binnen gekregen dat er foto’s zullen worden gepubliceerd.

De e-mail die ik ontving was kort maar krachtig:
Dear Tjeerd,

Thanks for applying for inclusion in our publications.

I am glad to inform you that you have been approved to appear in Current Masters or International Contemporary Masters or Important World Artists including the premium spreads and Covers.
Your work will be a great contribution to the caliber of the art presented in the books.
Please let me know how many pages you want and we will send you the selection of the specific images and the application form.

De World Wide Art Books zijn vergelijkbaar met het Inspiration: International Art Book waarin dit jaar foto’s zijn gepubliceerd. Het gaat hier echter om één van de drie boeken (Current Masters, International Contemporary Masters en Important World Artists) waarin de foto’s kunnen komen. In welk van de drie boeken is nog niet bekend.

Het lijkt er overigens op dat de Editor al een keuze gemaakt heeft voor de foto’s; dat is een andere benadering dan die van het Inspiration: International Art Book. Wellicht dat het antwoord op mijn vraag aan Thomas helderheid verschaft.

De publicatie van het Art Book zal december 2016 zijn.
