Vandaag kreeg ik een e-mail dat ik genomineerd ben voor The Global Art Awards 2020 in Shanghai, China!
De nominatie komt als een grote verrassing.
Twee jaar geleden, bij de 2018 editie die in Dubai (Verenigde Arabische Emiraten) werd gehouden, was ik ook genomineerd en is onderstaande foto van Catinca uiteindelijk finalist geworden in de categorie Photography.
Vorig jaar is er geen Global Art Award geweest, dus zou je kunnen zeggen dat er bij de vorige editie een finaleplaats is gehaald.
Wellicht dat de organisatie mij hierom opnieuw heeft genomineerd? Wie zal het zeggen.
In ieder geval wordt dit de derde edite van de Global Art Awards en zal de hele happening uiteindelijk gaan plaatsvinden in november in Shanghai, China.
In de e-mail over de nominatie stond het volgende:

From the top 100 most voted entries the Finalists will be announced on 10th November 2020 by the Jury:
Winners will be announced LIVE from Shanghai on 21st November 2020.
