Eergisteren is de internationale expositie “Censored” van start gegaan in de Milaanse M.A.D.S. Art Gallery, Italië, en in Fuerteventura op de Canarische Eilanden, Spanje.
Vanaf gisteren zal er elke dag een foto uitgelicht worden die in de expositie te zien is tot en met woensdag 21 juni en dit keer is de foto van Antonia aan de beurt.
De teksten zijn van de curator Martina Viesti.
De volgorde van de foto’s wordt ingegeven door de volgorde zoals deze in de catalogus, die bij deze expositie van M.A.D.S. Art Gallery hoort, verschijnt.

“Antonia (0308-2)” seems to belong to a futuristic context. The girl is placed against a white background, with a mirrored mask covering most of her face. Even the dress she wears has a futuristic, almost science-fiction appearance. However, the colors remain soft and peaceful. Antonia’s semi-open mouth appears to express anticipation or focused observation.”
