Aan het begin van de avond ontving ik een e-mail van de curator/eigenaresse van M.A.D.S. Art Gallery met daarin een persoonlijke uitnodiging voor het deelnemen aan M.A.D.S. Masters Tribute 2024.
De samenwerking met M.A.D.S Art Gallery gaat al heel lang terug naar eind oktober 2017 en de laatste keer dat ik met hen heb samengewerkt dateert van vorig jaar zomer, toen een foto van Merlin op Times Square in New York te zien was.
Even was er sprake van dat Studio Tjeerd het gehele jaar 2024 weer vertegenwoordigt zou worden door M.A.D.S. Art Gallery maar op de e-mails die ik eind vorig jaar en begin dit jaar heb gestuurd, is helaas geen antwoord meer gekomen.
Maar guess what?
Bij deze expositie hoort óók een vertoning op een billboard op Times Square!
In de e-mail die ontving stond dat tenminste in de laatste regels:

All participants of the exhibition will be presented together with their artworks in the TIMES SQUARE platform of excellence FOR FREE.”
Uit de e-mail kan ik opmaken dat de expositie op 1 maart begint.
Verder informatie dan deze wordt niet gegeven en dus heb ik de curator om meer informatie gevraagd.
