Vandaag trof ik in de e-mail een open uitnodiging aan voor de buitenexpositie The Fence 2017 in Brooklyn, Boston, Atlanta, Houston, Santa Fe, Durham en Denver.

By re‑contextualizing the use of large-format outdoor photographic displays normally reserved for advertising, THE FENCE becomes more than a showcase for photography – it becomes a shared public experience.

Deze wedstrijd lijkt enigszins op de openlucht expositie die The Billboard Creative (TBC) in Los Angeles heeft gehouden en waarvoor foto’s waren ingestuurd die overigens niet door de voorselectie waren heen gekomen.

Eerst maar eens kijken onder welke voorwaarden de foto’s kunnen worden geëxposeerd. Wordt ongetwijfeld vervolgd.
