Van de moeder van Merlin ontving ik een e-mail dat zij via een DM op Insta een uitnodiging had ontvangen voor publicatie van foto’s in het Beautica Magazine van juni 2023.
De vraag van moeder was of ik dat ook zou willen doen en dan is het antwoord wel heel erg simpel: natuurlijk, want door een publicatie komen gemaakte foto’s altijd beter tot z’n recht dan via het beeldscherm of de kleine schermpjes op een smartphone.
Het zou overigens de vierde keer zijn dat foto’s van Merlin in Beautica Magazine worden gepubliceerd.
Het betreft hier, net als de vorige keer, een zogenaamde open uitnodiging, maar het is wel ontzettend gaaf dat ze die naar Merlins account op Insta hebben gestuurd.
Ik heb even gekeken welke Calls for Work het tijdschrift op dit moment heeft en dat is er één:

Voor deze uitgave is de deadline 15 juni, dus we hebben nog ruim drie weken de tijd om foto’s uit te zoeken.
Het magazine is onderdeel van Kavyar, een bedrijf die vele tijdschriften onder de paraplu heeft.
Een van die tijdschriften is Beautica Magazine.
