“The Voices of Tomorrow Art Award” ontvangen

Bij het openen van de e-mail trof ik een berichtje aan van “Contemporary Art Curator Magazine“, die mij “The Voices of Tomorrow Art Award” wil uitloven.

Er is eerder samengewerkt met Contemporary Art Curator Magazine, maar de uitkomst van die samenwerking was er nu niet bepaald één om van de daken te schreeuwen en was toentertijd mijn conclusie “Elke andere kunstenaar die benaderd wordt door dit bedrijf zou ik willen afraden met hen in zee te gaan.”

Aan de andere kant leverde het mij wel contact op met MADS Gallery Milano en de daarop volgende digitale exposities in Milaan.
We zijn inmiddels al weer vier jaar verder en in de tussentijd kan iets nog altijd ten goede veranderen, nietwaar?

In ieder geval staat het interview met mij (dus van vier jaar terug) nog steeds online op de website van Contemporary Art Curator Magazine; bijkans een stukje nostalgie.

Hoe dan  ook kon ik het volgende in de e-mail lezen:

Awarded Artist receive the following:
1. Honourable Certificate.
The awarded Artist will receive the Voices of Tomorrow Art Award PDF print-version certificate, celebrating their achievement.

2. Art Award badge.

The awarded Artist will receive the Voices of Tomorrow Art Award ‘badge’ as an image file.
The badge can be used on the personal artist website to announce your Award.

3. The Awarded Artist will be featured on the special page on our website dedicated to the Awards.
Awarded artists will be presented on our website with a biography, statement, eight artworks and a link to their website and social media. Profiles of Awarded artists will remain on our website and will never be deleted.

4. Newsletter to all our database with art collectors honouring the awarded artists.

Unfortunately, due to the current situation with COVID-19 restrictions, we cannot hold the Art Prize ceremony.

Ik vind dit toch wel een lastige gezien de eerdere ervaringen die ik gehad heb met dit bedrijf.
Maar zoals ook al eerder geschreven: dat was vier jaar geleden.
In de tussentijd kan er het een en ander (in de positieve zin van het woord) veranderd zijn.
Daarnaast levert dit sowieso veel exposure op en dat is ook gunstig voor mijn modellen die hieraan wellicht wel willen meewerken.

Gelukkig is er nog even tijd om over na te denken en mijn modellen te polsen, want de deadline is uiteindelijk “pas” 15 april.

Wordt misschien nog wel vervolgd.
