Van een medewerker van Circle Foundation for the Arts ontving ik de twee slides met de foto’s van Merlin die op een groot videoscherm van 72″ tentoongesteld gaan worden tijdens World Art Dubai 2024 (WAD 2024).
Dit zijn nog niet de definitieve slides en kan ik, waar nodig, nog wijzigingen in laten aanbrengen.
De kunstbeurs World Art Dubai 2024, gehouden in het World Trade Center in Dubai, begint op 2 mei en duurt tot en met 5 mei.
Het Franse Circle Foundation for the Arts (CFA) doet de coördinatie en zal mij ook vertegenwoordigen op de beurs.
Er zijn via het bedrijf Look At Me Print visitekaartjes besteld maar dat heeft nog wel wat voeten in de aarde (zie daarover ook mijn vorige blog).
Nu dus even de andere kant – en in feite daar waar het om draait -: de twee foto’s van Merlin die op een 72″ groot videoscherm gaan komen tijdens de kunstbeurs.
De e-mail die ik ontving van de medewerker met als onderwerp: Circle Video Display in Dubai – Review your slides by Friday – Tjeerd Doosje:
“Dear Tjeerd,
we are sending a quick message today to ask you to review your slide(s) in the video presentation for World Art Dubai.
Please see attached and email us back by Friday, if a correction is necessary.
If we do not receive your reply, the slide(s) will be included in the video display as seen attached.
We will email again by the end of the week, with press materials that you can also use to share news about your participation in this major art fair.

In de bijlage zitten de twee slides zoals die nu gemaakt zijn.
Wat ik bij deze slides mis, is de naam van Merlin als model.
Ik heb Effi dan ook gevraagd om, als dat mogelijk is, een regel toe te voegen met Merlins naam:
“Dear Effi,
Thank you so much for sending me the slides for the videopresentation for World Art Dubai.
I’m also very happy to work with you on this and we, the model, her mother and I, are thrilled to have exposure in Dubai.
The slides look great, definitely. Thank you for making these.
Is it possible to add an extra line to give credits to the model by adding the name of the model, because it is also a way of promoting her in Dubai.
The name of the model is “Merlin Sen” from the Netherlands.
